PMO - Senior Risk Analyst
Senior Risk Analyst for major UK infrastructure programme. Lead QSRA, run senior risk workshops & deliver executive reporting in a highly regulated nuclear/EPC environment.
As part of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes, we are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to lead risk management activities within a defined programme area of this major project. The Risk team plays a central role in providing reliable, data-driven insight that underpins executive decision-making and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead risk management within your assigned programme area.
Facilitate risk and opportunity workshops with senior stakeholders.
Ensure risk registers are robust, current and aligned to project governance standards.
Deliver quantitative schedule and cost risk analysis (QSRA) to support forecasting.
Provide high-quality, executive-level reporting with clear commentary on key risk drivers and trends.
Challenge assumptions and ensure risk data integrity across interfaces.
Support integration of risk with planning, cost and performance management disciplines.
Contribute to continuous improvement of risk processes, reporting tools and systems.
Present risk insights at programme reviews, board meetings and portfolio forums.
Support and mentor junior members of the Risk team.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience within nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
Recognised risk or project controls qualification (e.g., MoR Practitioner, APM Risk).
Experience working within EPC or major contractor environments.
Significant experience in project risk management within large, complex infrastructure or construction programmes.
Demonstrable experience delivering quantitative risk analysis (schedule and/or cost).
Strong stakeholder management skills, including facilitating workshops at senior level.
Experience working within integrated project controls environments.
Ability to translate complex risk data into clear, actionable insight.
Technical Skills
Experience using risk and reporting tools such as:
ARM (or equivalent risk management systems)
QSRA tools (e.g., Safran Risk or similar)
Power BI or other data visualisation platforms
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
